A look at a few items I splurged on.
I recently splurged on items I do not need but wanted during the July 2024 Prime Day sale.

7 Items I Purchased
Below are the items I purchased in case you find any interesting for your personal Amazon wish list. Most are art-related items. Two are goofy items I wanted for myself. I am grateful I got these at a discounted price!
1 - Watercolor Coloring Book
The Grabie watercolor coloring book has fifteen thick pages of autumn-themed line art. The line art is available in landscape and portrait orientations.
I love coloring as an adult. I love the idea of having at least one coloring book that accepted wet medium. Thus, I bought this book to keep in my SUV along with my watercolor travel palette.
2 - Koi Fish Silicone Molds
Since I have failed to create my own polymer clay fish figures, I decided to buy a 3 piece koi fish silicone molds set.
I will dedicate two molds for epoxy resin crafts and one for polymer clay crafts. Hopefully, I do not go overboard and make dozens of resin and clay koi fish. (Check out my Resin Koi Fish video.) If I do, then maybe I should finally consider selling my creations at craft fairs.
3 - Sublimation Metal Blanks
I bought a 10 piece sublimation blank metal signs to create custom signs with my own designs. I did not need or originally intend to buy a ten pack, but this set was discounted during the sales event.
I specifically want to design my own "dogs on premises" sign to hang on my property. There is nothing wrong with the generic signs I can get at my local hardware or pet store, but I want to push my creativity to make something unique for me.
4 - Wind Chime Silicone Molds
My wind chimes broke after recent storms in my area. While I could buy new wind chimes from a local home decor store, I figured it would be more fun to create my own.
I bought wind chime silicone molds with hopes that I can make my own featuring colors and patterns I prefer instead of settling for whatever is available at a store. If any part breaks because of a future storm, ideally it should be easy to replace.
5 - Cat Silicone Molds
The 3 piece cute cat silicone molds were recommended after I added the koi fish silicone molds to my cart. They were too cute to resist!
The mold is thin and flexible, but I am hopeful it will maintain its shape once filled with epoxy resin or polymer clay.
6 - Bread Slippers
I always wear slippers around the house. Unfortunately, my young dog, Lucy, tore many pairs since I adopted her as a puppy last year.
Now that Lucy's destructive phase is dissipating, I figured it was a good time to buy myself another pair of household slippers. The bread winter slippers caught my eyes and made me giggle! They are quite comfortable, but I imagine that comfort will fade in no time with regular use.
7 - Pizza Blanket
I always wanted a tortilla blanket after seeing photos of my friend's dog wrapped in one. However, I fell in love with the Jorbest pizza blanket when I saw it. It is also available in tortilla, waffle, and chocolate chip cookie prints.
My dogs claimed the blanket as their own. The large dog tried to roll the blanket out from under the small dog several times.
When I was granted permission to feel it, the blanket felt thin yet soft to the touch. It looks like I will need to buy one or two more so my dogs would quit fighting over it.
What's Next?
The only item I have used are my bread slippers. They are comfy! I plan to use the other items this week. I really want to make the koi fish and cats!
